Who we are

The Dutchess County Long Rifles is the premiere Shooting Sports Program within the Dutchess County 4-H administered by Cornell Cooperative extension located in Millbrook, NY.

The Dutchess County Long Rifles is sponsored by American Legion Post 178 in Millerton, NY. We meet usually twice per month and range nights are currently held at various locations within Dutchess County generally on a Tuesday starting at 5:00 pm and on the occasional Saturdays (as range openings permit).

During the colder months we meet at the American Legion or Gun Club hall for club meetings. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged. We usually serve dinner during range and meeting nights to make it easier for families to attend.
